Rupankar Bagchi’s unveils ‘Double Rupankar’ songs marking International Tourism Day

Organised by The Dreamers Music PR Agency and Khukumoni in association with Theism Events, the event saw the songs unveiled by music composer Debojyoti Mishra and singer Rupankar Bagchi.

The music and lyrics for both tracks have been created by Sudipta Chanda.

Music composer Debojyoti Mishra said, "Sudipta has come to us with music which tells a story. He also composes and writes his own music. Every year, he organizes a mountain music festival, and he actually is a music enthusiast and I am very happy to be here."

Speaking at the event, Rupankar recalled his long association with Sudipta Chanda and praised his passion for music and his dedication to creating each song. He also spoke about his own continued desire to collaborate with musicians and remain involved in new projects.

"Nowadays we're more familiar with watching a song than just listening. I would say that not only our songs but listen to other songs as well, who try to be involved in the world of music," lyricist Sudipta Chanda added.

The singer also spoke about Chanda’s approach to his travel-based musical projects, noting that his videos often capture the composer’s own presence against scenic locations.

The two songs form part of the ‘Double Rupankar’ release and bring together Chanda’s music and lyrics with Rupankar’s voice, with travel serving as the central theme.

The release was timed around International Tourism Day, bringing together the two creative forms of music and travel while marking the occasion through a contemporary Bengali musical presentation.
