Promising to provide customers with a comprehensive set of AI features, tech major Oppo India recently launched the Reno13 and the Reno13 Pro smartphones.

The company said MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC and 80W SUPERVOOC fast-charging will provide an all-around performance to the users.

The IP66, IP68 and IP69 certifications enable the phones with dust and water resistance.

"This is one of the most highly anticipated series in the market," Saumya Sah, Assistant Manager- Retail, Oppo India told IBNS.

"We are bringing convenience and smart AI to the customers' pocket. The AI features will help a wide range of our customers. The AI and underwater photography feature will make the device a game-changer in the market," she said.

OPPO's AI Imaging includes features such as AI Portrait that harnesses the power of OPPO's proprietary large-model vision algorithm to help users reimagine their portraits in various forms while AI Night Portrait on the Reno13 Series uses generative AI to boost the sharpness of faces, reduce image noise, and refine facial contours.

AI Clear Face uses OPPO's self-trained large AI model to generate precise, high-definition details in portraits—from skin texture to hair, eyebrows, and more.

AI Best Face, on the other hand, automatically identifies people in photos with closed eyes and corrects this with AI.

The Reno13 Series' IP66, IP68, and IP69-certified for splash, resistance to dust and even submersion in freshwater up to 1.5 metres – tested up to 2 metres in OPPO labs for 30 minutes, the company said.

The Reno13 has a 5600mAh battery, while the Pro gets an even bigger 5800mAh battery. Both phones support 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge.

In OPPO lab tests, these batteries now have an extended 5-year lifespan compared to the 4 years on the Reno 12.

In addition to this, AI LinkBoost 2.0 and OPPO's custom SignalBoost X1 Chip ensure that the phone boosts Wi-Fi performance in weak signal areas, the smartphone maker said.

The Reno13 Pro 5G will be available in two variants: INR 49,999 for the 12GB+256GB and INR 54,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant. The Reno13 5G will be priced at INR 37,999 for the 8GB + 128GB and INR 39,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
