Musadiq Amin Sahaf assumes charge as University of Kashmir Registrar

Srinagar, June 24 (IBNS) Musadiq Amin Sahaf on Wednesday assumed charge as the Registrar of the University of Kashmir.

He has replaced Zafar A Reshi.

“At his own request, Dr Zafar Ahmad, Professor, Department of Botany is relieved from the additional duties as Registrar from 23.06.2015. Consequent upon the above, Prof Musadiq Amin Sahaf, Professor the Business School shall function as Registrar till further orders,” read an Order issued by the University.  

Sahaf had completed his M.Com in 1981, M.Phil (1982) and PhD in Marketing (1985) from the University of Kashmir and is the author of several books and papers published in local, national and international journals.

Sahaf’s appointment as Registrar has been widely hailed by University teachers, officers and employees.
