Delhi based Humnavaz Trust pays ode to Indian classical music through Shradhanjali festival

New Delhi/IBNS: Humnavaz Trust is holding a musical festival called Shradhanjali festival on December 25 and 26, 2021 where leading performers will participate.

Humnavaz Trust is a non profit organisation which focuses on promoting different genres of music, including Hindustani, Ghazal, Qawwali, Sufi, etc., in authentic, collaborative, and experimental forms.

The festival will be held at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts Janpath from 6pm onwards.

On December 25, in the first half, there will be performances by Neel Ranjan Mukherjee on Hawaiian Guitar, Adhiraj Chaudhuri on Sitarand Subhan Khan on Tabla.

The second session of the evening will see performances by Pt. Ritesh Rajnish Mishra (Vocal), Ustad Akram Khan on Tabla and Sumit Mishra on Harmonium.



On December 26, Aarchik Banerjee on Tabla (Solo) and Mudassir Khan (Sarangi) will open the evening session, followed by Adnan Khan (Sitar) and Ustad Akram Khan (Tabla).

Performing at the final session will be Pt. Pravin Godkhindi and Shadaj Godkhindi (Flute) and Zuheb Ahmed Khan (Tabla).
