Climate change impacting entire planet: UN

New York, Apr 1 (IBNS): The effects of climate change are already occurring in all continents and across the oceans, and the world, for the most part, is ill-prepared for their risks, says a United Nations report issued on Monday, which also warns that while action can be taken, managing the phenomenon’s impacts will be difficult on a rapidly warming planet.
7 million premature deaths annually linked to air pollution

Geneva, Mar 31 (IBNS) In new estimates released last week, WHO reports that in 2012 around 7 million people died - one in eight of total global deaths – as a result of air pollution exposure. This finding more than doubles previous estimates and confirms that air pollution is now the world’s largest single environmental health risk. Reducing air pollution could save millions of lives.
