Guwahati, Jan 12 (IBNS): A tourist group of South India got narrowly escaped after the jeep, in which the group was travelling, was attacked by an one horned rhino during safari in Assam's Kaziranga National Park on Friday.

According to the reports, all members of the tourist group survived the rhino attack without any severe injuries.

One of the survivors tweeted that, the rhino attacked the vehicle and lifted it in air for few seconds.

“A forest guard fired a shot but couldn’t fire the second one as bullet got stuck. Driver failed to start the vehicle. Rhino panicked in between and left. The jeep finally started and we escaped,” Sojan Jose said in his tweet.
