Tonga is all set to enter a lockdown after two fresh COVID-19 cases were recorded in Nuku'alofa city , media reports said on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Siaosi Sovaleni said both cases were detected at the port, where humanitarian aid has been arriving following the recent volcanic eruption and tsunami, reports BBC.

The nation had earlier remained virus free.
