Rough sea condition forecast along & off WB, Odisha and Andhra coasts

Kolkata, July 26 (UNI): During next 24 hours, rough to very rough sea condition very likely to prevail along & off West Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh coasts hence fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.

Strong winds with speed reaching up to 40-50 kmph likely to prevail over westcentral, adjoining southwest and north Arabian sea, and north and westcentral Bay of Bengal as well as Gujarat coast.

Heavy to very heavy rainfalls very likely at isolated places over east and west Rajasthan, Konkan and Goa, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, Chhattisgarh, coastal Karnataka, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, central Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Telangana, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry,Karaikal, interior Karnataka and Kerala,and Mahe.

Southwest monsoon has been active over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, east Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa, madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana whereas it has been subdued over Rayalaseema.

From 2030 hours Thursday to 0830 hours Friday,thunderstorm observed at isolated places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Rajasthan, Telangana and Odisha.

Thunderstorm very likely at isolated places in Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, east and west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, east and west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Gujarat region, Saurashtra and Kutch, madhya Maharashtra, interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, east and west Rajasthan, Marathwada, Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema.
