Nearly 150 million year old Dinosaur footprints discovered in Rajasthan

Jaisalmer, Jun 13 (IBNS): Indian geologists have discovered footprints of the Eubrontes Gleneronsensis Theropod dinosaur in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan, according to media reports.
The credit of the find goes to Dr Virendra Singh Parihar, DR Suresh Chandra Mathur and Dr Shankar Lal Nama of the geological department of Jainarayan Vyas University in Jodhpur.
 
Dr. Suresh Chandra Mathur has said that the fossilised footprints, believed to 150 million years old, will help in deciphering why the animals disappeared from the face of the earth.
 
Fossils of the Eubrontes Theropod have also been discovered in  France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Sweden, Slovakia, Australia and the US, media reported.
