Kolkata: Medical student died due to dengue

Kolkata, Dec 3 (IBNS): A medical student died due to dengue in Kolkata's private hospital on Wednesday, reports said on Thursday.

According to reports, Malini Banerjee (19), a resident of Durgapur, was studying MBBS (1st Year) in R. G. Kar Medical College in Kolkata and staying in a girls' hostel inside the campus.

Malini reportedly caught dengue there before few days and was admitted to R. G. Kar Medical College and Hospital. Her health condition was deteriorated and was shifted to a private hospital and died there on Wednesday midnight.
