India's COVID-19 death toll touches 17400

New Delhi/IBNS: India entered the second phase of 'unlock' on Wednesday as the country registered 18,653 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, officials said.

The total COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 5,85,493.

The death toll due to the highly infectious disease touched 17400.

There are 220114 active COVID-19 cases in India at present.

So far, 347978 people have recovered from the disease.
