India reports 3.68 lakh Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India, a country of 1.3 billion people, reported over 3.68 lakh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

With 3,68,147 new cases, the overall tally of infections has touched 1,99,25,604.

In the same period of time, 3,417 new deaths apparently related to the virus have been reported.

The toll nationwide has further surged to 218,959.

Most of the new deaths have been reported from Maharashtra (700), Delhi (400) and Uttar Pradesh (300).

Several states like Punjab, Odisha and Goa have imposed lockdown to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
