India reports 20,557 Covid-19 cases in 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India reported 20,557 Covid-19 cases while the toll went up by 44 in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said Thursday.

In the same span of time, 19,216 Covid-19 patients have recovered from across the vast country of 1.3 billion people.

The recovery percentage is 98.47% at present.

The active cases, which now stand at 1,46,323, now form 0.33% of the total cases.

Under the national vaccination drive, 203.21 anti-Covid vaccine doses (including first, second and precautionary doses) have so far been administered in the country.
