India records 6,915 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, lowest daily count in two months

New Delhi: India recorded 6,915 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, marking a significant drop in the daily count, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

During the same period, 180 people died due to the deadly virus.

It is the lowest daily rise in cases recorded in two months.

India's active caseload currently stands at 92,472.

Active cases stand at 0.22 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.59 percent.

The country's daily positivity rate now stands at  0.77 percent.
