India records 3,82,315 new COVID-19 cases, 3780 deaths in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India registered 3,82,315 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per Ministry of Health released data on Wednesday.

During the same period, 3,780 people died due to the virus.

The death toll due to the virus now stands at 226188.

There are 34,87,229 active cases in the country at present.

During the same 24 hours period, 338439 people have been discharged from hospital.

India is ravaged by a second deadly wve of COVID-19 at present.
