India records 22,065 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours, lowest daily count since July 6

New Delhi: India registered 22,065 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours , as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

It is the lowest daily count recorded in India since July 6.

The total number of patients infected by the China-origin virus so far stands at 99,06,165.

In the past 24 hours, 354 deaths due to the virus have been reported.

The total death toll due to the disease now stands at 143709.

So far, 9422636 people have been discharged from hospitals.

The number of active cases in the country is currently 339820.
