India records 14,348 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 14,348 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health.

During the same period, 805 people also died due to the deadly virus.

The death toll due to the virus now stands at 457191.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.19 percent.

13,198 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.

Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases and currently stands at 0.47 percent.

It is the lowest figure since March 2020.

India's Active caseload stands at 1,61,334.
