India records 1,109 new COVID-19 cases, 43 deaths
New Delhi: India recorded 1,109 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as the daily positivity rate stood at 0.24 percent, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Friday.
During the period, 43 people died due to the virus.
India's active caseload currently stands at 11,492
Active cases stand at 0.03 percent.
Recovery Rate currently at 98.76 percent.
1,213 people recovered from the disease.
