India adds 13,058 new COVID-19 cases, recovery rate improves to 98.14 percent

New Delhi: India, the country that witnessed a deadly second wave of the pandemic, added 13,058 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released  by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

It is the lowest daily case added in the past 231 days.

Recovery rate also improved to 98.14 percent, which is the highest figure since March 2020.

19,470 people recovered from the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases. It currently  stands at 0.54 percent.

India's Active caseload stands at 1,83,118.
