Himachal Pradesh: 2.7 magnitude quake hits Chamba

Shimla: Magnitude 2.7 earthquake hit Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday morning, Indian Meterogical Department said in a press statement .

The epicenter of earthquake was located at Latitude of 32.53 and Longitude 76.43 and 5 km deep in Chamba town about 360 km from State capital Shimla. The tremor also felt in the border areas in Jammu Kashmir.

The earthquake was felt at 9.52 on Saturday. No loss of life and property was reported due to earthquake.
