COVID-19: Police constable tests positive in Telangana

Hyderabad/UNI: A police constable from Rangareddy district in Telangana on Saturday tested positive for COVID-19 taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 767.

The constable was on duty at the state-run Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad recently, according to official sources.

The state has reported 18 COVID-19 deaths so far.

Meanwhile,Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will chair a cabinet meeting on Sunday to review the COVID-19 situation in the state and during the meeting the Cabinet is expected to discuss the measures being taken to contain the spread of coronavirus and implementation of lockdown.

The cabinet is also expected to take a call whether to continue the lockdown strictly till May three or give some concessions after April 20.
