Bangladesh: Coronavirus tally reaches 2,44,020

Dhaka/UNI: Bangladesh recorded 1,918 more COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours taking the south Asian nation's overall tally to 2,44,020, the Directorate General of Health Services said on Tuesday.

As many as 50 people succumbed to the disease during the past day taking the country's overall death toll to 3,234.

A total of 7,112 samples were tested from across the country during the past 24 hours.

Some 1,955 patients recovered from the ailment during the past day taking the overall count of those who have recovered to 1,39,860.
