Another rhino poached in Kaziranga

Guwahati, Dec 10 (IBNS): Poachers killed another one horned rhino in Assam’s Kaziranga National Park (KNP) on Wednesday and fled with its horn, officials said.

The incident took place at Kathalchang area under Burhapahar range office in the national park, where poachers killed the rhino.

Poachers had managed to flee from the area with the horn.

“Forest guards had recovered a dehorned bullet injuries male rhino inside the park,” an official of KNP said.

Forest guards recovered three empty cartridges and a cartridge of insas rifle near the bullet injuries body.
