5.3 earthquake hits Afghanistan-Tajikistan Border Region
Islamabad, Dec 6 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale Afghanistan-Tajikistan Border Region, as tremors of it were felt in Pakistan's Chitral and adjoining areas on Thursday, media reports said.
The earthquake occurred at 7:34 hours.
The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 36.52 degrees north and longitude 71.29 degrees east, Pakistan Meteorological Department website said.
No casualty has been reported so far.
