Xiaomi's founder and CEO Lei Jun meets PM Modi

New Delhi, Mar 28 (IBNS): Chinese technology company Xiaomi's founder and CEO Lei Jun has met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi here.

The company said its growth plans in the nation was discussed during the meeting.

"Our CEO @leijun and @manukumarjain had the honour of meeting PM @narendramodi where they talked about #MakeInIndia and our growth plans," MI India tweeted.

Lei presented the Indian PM a Made-In-India Redmi 4A smartphone.

Managing Director Xiaomi India Manu Kumar Jain tweeted: "The gift that we gave to Hon'ble @PMOIndia @narendramodi? It's a #MakeInIndia #Redmi4A and all the components in a glass box. @XiaomiIndia."
