Volkswagen drives sales upwards, launches Vento Magnific
Mumbai, Mar 9 (IBNS): Volkswagen, Europe's largest carmaker, has announced a 10% increase in sales in February 2015, as compared to sales in February last year. With successful launches of the new Polo, new Polo GT and new Vento last year, followed by the successful launch of the new Jetta in February this year, Volkswagen's sales in India are now showing a clear upwards trend.
Riding on the hike in sales this month, Volkswagen also announces the launch of the Special Edition Vento Magnific.
The Vento is one of the safest cars in its segment, boasting high levels of build quality and outstanding driving dynamics. The Special Edition Vento Magnific builds on that by offering higher levels of standard equipment and, hence, even more value.
In Highline trim, the Vento Magnific comes with a high-end Blaupunkt infotainment system with front and rear display units and 3G internet connectivity. In Comfortline trim, the new Vento Magnific gets Alloy Wheels, Garmin navigation device and scuff plates with Vento badging as standard.
As with the regular Vento, the Special Edition Vento Magnific also gets dual front airbags, powerful dual-beam headlamps and flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel as standard fitment.
Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We always strive to go the extra mile and provide more value to our customers. The Special Edition Vento Magnific is a step in that direction. Along with high standards of safety and impeccable build quality, the Vento Magnific is also equipped with extras like high-end infotainment and navigation systems, and Alloy Wheels, which we believe our customers will appreciate. We would like to invite you to visit your nearest Volkswagen showroom and experience the Vento Magnific for yourself.”
