Vodafone India launches 3G services in Rajasthan

Kolkata, Jan 18 (IBNS) Vodafone India, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, has begun the roll-out of its Superfast 3G services on its own 3G network in Rajasthan.

Built on the superior 2100 MHz, this modern and technology efficient 3G will offer the people of Rajasthan a faster, smarter and better mobile internet experience with good speeds and seamless connectivity.

"Vodafone has already built over 1100+ cell sites across Rajasthan and will continue to expand in a phased manner and complete the roll out of 3G on its own network across the state by Feb 2016," read a statement issued by the company.

Commenting on the launch of Vodafone’s own 3G network in Rajasthan, Amit Bedi, Business Head-Rajasthan, Vodafone India said, “Given the topography of Rajasthan, mobile phone users in the state have found mobile internet as an useful tool to connect, remain informed and source entertainment options. We have made significant investments in Rajasthan towards network expansion to facilitate a superior customer experience for our valued customers. With the launch of our own 3G network, our valued customers across the state can now avail faster, smarter, better speeds and superior data browsing experience at the existing 3G tariffs. We are confident that our customers will enjoy superfast internet experience on the go and this will facilitate faster mobile internet adoption.”
