TVS Motor Company posts 22% sales growth in October

Hosur, Nov 1 (IBNS) : TVS Motor Company on Saturdays aid it has posted a sales growth of 22 percent during the month of October 2014, with total sales increasing from 197,905 units recorded in the month of October 2013 to 241,044 units in the month of October 2014.

The company's total exports grew by 51 percent with sales increasing from 23,154 units in the month of October 2013 to 34,855 units in October 2014.

Two wheeler exports grew by 65 percent with sales increasing from 16,750 units in October 2013 to 27,696 units in October 2014.

Total two wheeler sales increased by 22 percent from 189,979 units recorded in October 2013 to 231,990 units in October 2014. Domestic two wheeler sales grew by 18 percent increasing from 173,229 units in October 2013 to 204,294 units in October 2014.

Scooters sales of the company grew by 68% increasing from 42,124 units in October 2013 to 70,571 units in October 2014. Motorcycles sales grew by 10% increasing from 82,352 units in the month of October 2013 to 90,779 units in October 2014.
