Tata Steel sales up by 10 pct in 3rd quarter

Mumbai,11 (IBNS): Tata Steel Limited on Monday said its sales moved up by 10 percent to 2.35 million tonnes in Q3 FY’16.

" Sales increased by 10.3 % y-o-y to 2.35 million tonnes in Q3 FY’16," the company said in a statement.

The company said it has registered Hot Metal and Crude Steel production of 2.69  million tonnes (up by 13.1% y-o-y) and 2.55 million tonnes (up by 11.3% y-o-y) respectively for Q3 FY’16.

Saleable Steel production was higher by 13.1% y-o-y (to 2.51 million tonnes), the company said in a statement.tAT
