Tata Motors launches new variant of Safari Storme

Kolkata / Mumbai, Dec 8 (IBNS): Tata Motors on Tuesday launched a new variant of the Safari Storme VX powered by a new 2.2L VARICOR 400 engine.

The newest addition to the Safari Storme family, the Safar Storme VX is available in both 4x2 and 4x4 drive options, and is priced @ Rs 13,25,530 for the 4X2 option, with the VX 4X4 option priced at Rs 14,59,952 (ex-showroom New Delhi)

With renewed 156 PS power, the new 2.2L VARICOR 400 engine now produces 400Nm of torque, delivered through a new 6-speed manual gearbox, with a self-adjusting clutch, for a perfect balance for power, performance and a car like feel.

With power delivered to all-4 wheels with a Shift-on-the fly four-wheel drive system, the vehicle is fitted with Limited Slip Differential (LSD) which enables the vehicle to negotiate any surface with ease.

The Safari Storme VX also features Tata Motors new integrated CONNECTNEXT system with 6-speaker surround sound by Harman, all routed to Tata Motors new signature steering wheel.

"Designed with 3 spokes, the new steering wheel, boasts smart control features and an ergonomic grip, for superior command and convenience. The new CONNECTNEXT system has contemporary features like - Speed Dependent Volume Control, Bluetooth Hands Free, with CD/MP3/Radio/Aux/USB and iPod connectivity, Phone Book Download, Audio Streaming and a Reverse Parking Sensor Display," read a statement issued by the company.
