Tata GenX Nano deliveries start in Pune today

Pune, May 28 (IBNS) : Within a week of the national launch of the new GenX Nano, Tata Motors on Thursday announced its first customer deliveries for the new cars in Pune, to bring convenience and joy to 35 families.

This move to deliver the new GenXNano so quickly after the launch underlines the trust that customers bestow in brand Nano to make it the Most Trusted Brand.

Out of the 35 GenX Nanos delivered today, 17 were Manual Transmission (MT) variants and 18 were the top-end variant, which comes with ‘Easy Shift’ Automated Manual Transmission.

Delivering on its promise of being the ‘smart city car’, the GenX Nano ‘Easy Shift’ Automated Manual Transmission offers its customers the ease of maneuverability in heavy traffic and during parking. The ‘Easy Shift’ Automated Manual Transmission comes with an in-built creep feature, which helps the car to crawl as soon as the pressure is eased off the brake pedal, without pressing the accelerator.

The car also provides its customers with a ‘Shift Assist’ manual mode for convenience of changing gear as per the driver's requirement, with the vehicle automatically suggesting the optimum gear shift points on the instrument cluster and an option of ‘Sports’ mode for performance oriented drivers.

In addition, the all new GenX Nano comes with class-leading driving dynamics, best-in-class interior space and convenience of 110L (MT) / 94L (AMT) luggage space accessible through an easy access hatch, connectivity features like BluetoothTM, CD, Radio, USB and AUX-in connectivity. The new generation Nano comes with enhanced safety features like crumple zone, intrusion beams, anti-roll bar and SUV-like ground clearance.
