Tata Docomo announces augmentation of internet network in Kolkata

Kolkata, Sept 10 (IBNS): Internet provider Tata Docomo Photon on Wednesday announced augmentation of its network in Kolkata, which will allow it to offer an upgraded data speed of upto 9.8Mbps on the Photon Max Wi-Fi Data Card.

This augmentation will result in faster speeds on the Photon Max Wi-Fi device.

All existing customers of Tata Docomo Photon will be automatically able to access the higher speeds as the upgrade is device compatible with their existing Photon Max Wi-Fi devices.

Customers will incur no roaming charges nationally on the use of this product, which makes it highly convenient and easy for travellers to seamlessly access data while being on the move.

Announcing the launch, Ashok Ghose, MBU Head – East, Tata Teleservices Limited said, “Tata Docomo continues to lead its efforts to offer better and faster data connectivity for its customers. With rapidly increasing demand for high speed data connectivity, this network augmentation will further enable our customers to enjoy on the go internet and enjoy seamless and rich multimedia. Photon Max Wi-Fi is already redefining the way customers access Internet data across multiple devices at home and offices and this will further enhance their data experience.”

Further, the company has introduced new plans with huge data benefits at very affordable prices for its new and existing postpay customers with high data requirements.

Postpay users can now enjoy unlimited high speed data surfing upto 40 GB for Rs. 999.
