Suzlon Group bags 370 MW of orders globally

Pune/Hamburg, Apr 25 (IBNS): Wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon Group has signed contracts for 370 MW during the Q4 of FY 2013-14, adding to an already strong pipeline of onshore & off shore orders globally in 2014.
The company will be supplying these turbines for new wind farms in countries such as Germany, UK, India, Belgium and other European countries.
 
Suzlon Group over the years has an installed capacity of 24200 MW globally across 33 countries. 
 
Andreas Nauen, CEO – Senvion SE, commented: “We have a suitable turbine for each individual site in our product portfolio. That’s why we are optimistic to extend our market share in Senvion’s key markets.”
 
Kirti Vagadia Group Head – Corporate Finance– Suzlon Group said: “The orders represent not only the rapid globalization of our business, but also the value proposition Suzlon has to offer to its clients.
 
In its annual Global Wind Turbine OEM Market Share report, MAKE said Suzlon had a global market share of 6.3 percent, as measured by newly installed generating capacity.
