Sunil D'Souza appointed Managing Director of Whirlpool of India Limited

Kolkata, May 25 (IBNS) Arvind Uppal, President Asia Pacific, Whirlpool Corporation and CMD Whirlpool of India Limited today announced that Sunil D’Souza will be joining as Managing Director, Whirlpool of India Limited effective June 22.

D’Souza joins Whirlpool from PepsiCo where he was the Head of PepsiCo’s VIMAPS Business Unit based out of Malaysia. 

In his 15 years with PepsiCo, D’Souza has held various senior management positions in Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam and India.

Remarking on the appointment of  D’Souza,  Uppal, said “Sunil’s rich and diverse experience across General Management, Strategy, Sales, Marketing and Innovation in consumer driven industries, coupled with his proven track record in leading and growing large businesses, makes him highly suited to lead Whirlpool India.”

Uppal will continue as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors, Whirlpool of India Limited.
