New Delhi, Oct 24 (IBNS): Taking the extra bass audio experience to the next level, Sony India today unveiled the all new MDR-XB80BS and MDR-XB50BS sports wireless Extra Bass In-Ear headphones.

These powerful additions to Sony’s wireless headphones line-up, comes with uncompromising sound quality, distinct finish, portability with aesthetic design and an urban appeal.

Catering to the sports enthusiasts who prefer good sound quality, deep beats while working out, these headphones are tuned for EDM, which has the best matching tempo (120 to 140 beats per minute to give that extra bass and push needed to enhance sports performance.) According to a research by sports scientists at Brunel University, UK which is a world-leading research hub on music for athleticism have demonstrated that music can reduce your rate of perceived effort by 12% and improve your endurance by 15%.

Research has repeatedly shown how music can improve performance by drawing one’s attention away from feelings of fatigue and pain when engaged in endurance activities such as running, cycling, or swimming.

It’s been shown that listening to music during exercise increases the efficiency of an activity and it postpones fatigue.

This especially holds true if there is a synchrony between the rhythm of the music and the movements of the athlete themselves.

In the last 10 years, the only music genre which gained popularity is EDM and hence going in line with the growing trend of pop culture, Sony launched the new MDR-XB80BS & MDR-XB50BS.
