Sensex reaches 25,000 ahead Modi's swearing-in
New Delhi, May 26 (IBNS) The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex on Monday jumped over 300 points to reach the 25,000-mark ahead of Narendra Modi's swearing-in as the country's new Prime Minister.
The Nifty traded 80 points higher at 7,450.
The rupee opened higher by 12 paise at a 11-month high of 58.40 against the US dollar during early trade on Monday.
