RIL Q2 profit up 1.7%

Mumbai, Oct 13 (IBNS)Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) on Monday announced a marginal rise of 1.7 percent in its second quarter as it recorded a net profit of Rs. 5,972 crore.

In the April-September quarter of last fiscal, 2013-14, the company had posted Rs. 5,873 crore profit.

The company's turnover, however, dropped by  4.3 percent to Rs. 1,13,396 crore.
