Petrol, diesel prices hiked

New Delhi, Nov 15 (IBNS): Creating troubles for consumers, petrol and diesel prices have been hiked on Sunday.

While petrol price has been increased by Re. 36 paise   per litre, diesel prices is raised by Re. 87 paise per litre.

" Increase in Retail Selling Price of Petrol by Rs. 0.36 /litre at Delhi (including State levies) with corresponding price revision in other States. With this change, the price of Petrol in Delhi will become Rs. 61.06/litre," Indian Oil Corporation said in a statement.

"Increase in Retail Selling Price of Diesel (Retail) by Rs. 0.87/litre at Delhi (including State levies) with corresponding price revision in other States. With this change, the price of Diesel in Delhi will become Rs. 46.80/litre," it said.

The new price will come to affect from midnight tonight.
