Nestle India resumes manufacturing at Pantnagar factory
"This is the fourth factory that is currently manufacturing MAGGI Noodles after Nanjangud (Karnataka), Moga (Punjab) and Bicholim (Goa) factories,"the company said in a statement.
"The commencement of production at Pantnagar will have a positive and rejuvenating economic impact across the supply chain. Suppliers, vendors, distributors, retailers, kiosks which sell prepared MAGGI Noodles and service providers are in the process of reinstating and re-activating the systems and processes," it said.
Celebrating this occasion, Suresh Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé India said: “Over the past 32 years, MAGGI Noodles has become the most relevant, trusted and valuable food brand in India. As we Welcome Back MAGGI Noodles, we have currently reached out to more than 600 towns and cities, covered about 2.0 lakh outlets and have sold over 4. 5 crore packs. The re-launch has had a refreshing effect upon employees and across the supply chain as thousands of farmers, distributors, suppliers and retailers are happy to be part of this. Today, the entire ecosystem including our employees and stakeholders are extremely happy and humbled to have been able to return to the consumers their favorite MAGGI Noodles Masala. We are hopeful that this journey will help us re-calibrate, re-charge and re-focus on the brand.”
