Mumbai, Dec 15 (IBNS) L&T Technology Services, a global R&D and Engineering Services company, has been rated as an expansive and established leader in the overall category by Zinnov’s 'Global R&D Service Providers Ratings’ (GSPR) survey 2015.

The survey also rated L&T Technology Services in the Leadership Zone for eight industry verticals - Automotive, Aerospace, Telecommunication, Energy & Utilities, Industrial Automation, Transport, Construction & Heavy Machinery and Medical industries, besides technology horizontals for Mechanical Engineering Services and Embedded Systems.

“The key differentiators for L&T Technology Services has been their strong core engineering culture and their investments in lab infrastructure for both embedded and mechanical capabilities. Keshab Panda, Chief Executive, L&T Technology Services said, “Building on the deep engineering heritage of our parent company Larsen & Toubro, L&T Technology Services is perfectly in step with emerging business needs, while continuously innovating to drive profitable growth for customers. We have initiated several Proofs of Concepts (POCs), set up labs and centers of excellence in key business areas such as Internet of Things (IoT), Machine to Machine (M2M), Power Electronics and Engineering Analytics that explore usage scenarios of the future.”

Zinnov’s GSPR 2015 study is an extensive, annual study of the capabilities of R&D and Product Engineering Services providers, and is designed to assist global engineering leaders in making the right decisions in their selection of outsourcing partners from across the world. Parameters analyzed as a part of the study include human capital, product development capabilities, financials, ecosystem linkages and infrastructure, and innovation/IP creation. Assessment is based on scale, client spread, vertical presence as well as R&D practice maturity demonstrated through innovation, specialization and extensive eco-system linkages.
