LG Max launched in India

New Delhi, July 24 (IBNS) : LG Electronics on Friday launched its competitively priced mid-range 3G smartphone, LG Max, in India.

A successor to last year’s popular L Bello smartphone, the LG Max features a larger display and a more powerful selfie camera more in line with the company’s premium models.

India is one of the first countries in the world to launch the LG Max ahead of Europe and the CIS.

In addition to the large 5-inch display, there is a 5MP front-facing camera and a best-in-class 2,540mAh replaceable battery that provides ample power to support all the advanced features.

The LG Max comes with LG’s proprietary features like Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash (carried over from the G Series) that make it easy to snap great selfies.

Gesture Shot enables users to take selfies without pressing any buttons by simply opening and closing the palm in front of the camera, making it perfect for selfie sticks.

Amit Gujral, Marketing head, LG Mobiles India, said, “Most of the people who use internet on smartphones use 3G services as 4G is still at a nascent stage in our country. Keeping this in mind, LG has launched LG Max as we are sure that this smartphone will offer unprecedented value to 3G consumers. This smartphone offers great balance of form, function and price and we expect it to be even more successful than its predecessor.”

LG Max is priced at Rs 10,990 in India.
