Jet Airways Best Full Service Airline- Domestic award

Mumbai, Aug 25 (IBNS): Jet Airways has been conferred with 'Best Full Service Airline- Domestic' award for 2016 by the Air Passengers Association of India (APAI).

Amit Agarwal, Chief Executive Officer (Acting) & Chief Financial Officer  - Jet Airways, received the award on behalf of the airline, at a glittering event organised by APAI members to mark the silver jubilee of the association in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The award ceremony was attended by several luminaries from the trade and travel industry, including government dignitaries.

Minister of Consumer Affairs Ram Vilas Paswan presented the award to Amit Agarwal.

APAI also facilitated cabin attendant Nidhi Chaphekar for her courage and resilience during the Brussels attack and the award was received by Amit Agarwal, CEO (Acting) & CFO, on behalf of her from Minister of Textile Smriti Irani.

Jet Airways was adjudged the winner amongst its competitors in a poll conducted by APAI from 28th July 2016 to the 10th August 2016.

Receiving the awards, Amit Agarwal said, "On behalf of Jet Airways, I would like to thank the APAI for this distinct recognition and honour. Importantly, these awards hold special significance as they are a recognition of our  service excellence by none other than our guests. Jet Airways is committed to delivering a truly world class product and endeavours to continually enhance travel experience of guests, to continually focus on exceeding guests expectations.”

Jet Airways was previously honoured by the APAI as the 'Best Full Service Airline-India' in 2007, the 'Best Full Service Airline in India' in 2008, and as the Best Full Service Airline- International and 'Best Full Service Airline- Domestic' awards in 2009.
