Indian Rupee up 28 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Wednesday, the last day of the financial year 2020-21 jumped 28 paise at 73.10 against the US Dollar on fresh selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The domestic unit slipped by 20 paise to 73.58 in opening session. During the day, it erased earlier losses and ended positive at 73.10, surging 28 paise as compared to its last close.

The Rupee registered days high and low at 73,65 and 73.05 respectively.

The domestic jumped unit owing to weak dollar against other world currencies despite weak equity market, they added.
