Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday ended weak at 72.96, slipping 13 paise against the USD on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

In opening trade, the domestic unit fell by six paise to 72.89.

Till the end of the session, it further lost by 13 paise to finish at 72.96 as compared to its previous close.
