Indian Market: Sensex slides 276.46 points

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday dropped 276.46 points to close at 54,088.39 due to weak global peers.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too dipped 72.95 points at 16,167.10.

The Sensex registered days high and low at 54,598.55 and 53,519.30 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 16,318.75 and 15,992.60 respectively.
