ICICI Bank organises coin exchange mela at seven cities in Rajasthan

Udaipur, Nov 19 (IBNS): ICICI Bank Ltd has organised coin exchange melas across seven cities of Banswara, Bedwa, Dungarpur, Salumber, Fatehnagar, Rikhabdeo and Tandaratna under the aegis of the Reserve Bank of India.
One branch from each of these cities participated in the melas held last week.
 
The Bank periodically organises coin exchange melas to offer free facility of exchanging acceptable soiled and mutilated currency notes with fresh currency and coins to the general public. 
 
The coin mela saw participation of around 1000 people, where they exchanged coins worth Rs. 8 lakhs in the denomination of Rs.10, Rs.5, Rs.2 and Re.1. The Bank exchanged fresh currency worth Rs. 3.5 crores at these places in denominations of Rs 1000, Rs 500, Rs 100, Rs 50 , Rs 20 and Rs 10.
 
ICICI Bank has 4054 branches and 12964 ATMs in the country (as on September 30, 2015). It has over 400 branches and more than 600 ATMs in Rajasthan along with two fully automated ‘Touch Banking’ branches which are available 24x7 on all days in Jaipur.
