ICAI hosts workshop on Company Law

Kolkata, June 13 (IBNS): Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on Friday hosted a Workshop on Company Law organised by Young Member Empowerment Committee, ICAI.

The Seminar was inaugurated by CA Pramod Dayal Rungta, Chairman, EIRC of ICAI; CA Anirban Datta, Vice-Chairman, EIRC & Others. The Seminar was deliberated by CA Abhay Vasant Arolkar, Mumbai & CS Anant Amdekar, Mumbai.

The Companies Act is landmark legislation with far-reaching consequences on all companies incorporated in India. The objective of this seminar was to provide an opportunity to get a better understanding of the Act, the implications and the likely steps that are required to be taken to address the new requirements and standards.
