Hyundai records highest-ever domestic sales with 40,505 units

New Delhi, Sept 1 (IBNS): Hyundai Motor India Ltd, the country's leading premium car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter recorded highest-ever domestic sales of 40,505 units and exports of 14,103 units with cumulative sales of 54,608 units for the month of August.

Commenting on the August sales Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP- Sales and Marketing, HMIL said, "Hyundai recorded highest-ever single month with a volume of 40,505 units and growth of 20% over the last year, led by strong youthful product portfolio in which the Global SUV CRETA & Elite i20 and i20 Active had volumes of more than 17,800 units showcasing the customers’ continued aspirational preference for new and exciting models even in these challenging times. Hyundai looks forward to sustain double digit growth above industry growth rate increasing market share in passenger vehicles"
