First Nissan high performance centre opens in India

Noida, Dec 5 (IBNS): Nissan has taken its commitment to offer exciting new products and excel in customer service to new heights with the inauguration of India’s first Nissan High Performance Centre (NHPC) in Noida, located in the Delhi-National Capital Region(NCR).

In addition to offering sales and service for all the Nissan cars in the brand’s current product range, the NHPC will be the only showroom in the country to have the all-new 2017 Nissan GT-R on display and for sale.

The centre will serve as the exclusive sales and service centre for all GT-Rs sold in India.

The NHPC in Noida is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment imported from Japan to service and repair the GT-R, Nissan’s flagship supercar. This includes a dedicated service bay for the cars, wheel alignment machines, and the necessary tools and equipment to service the car’s engines, transmissions, braking systems and performance optimisation. It even has a special nitrogen filling station to inflate the GT-R’s tires to match its dynamic suspension.

“I am delighted to inaugurate Nissan’s first High Performance Centre in India. The Centre shows our commitment to bringing Nissan’s best global products to India and our unwavering commitment to provide world-class service to our customers,” said Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India. “The NHPC takes pride in its technicians’ ability to provide unique, global standards of technical assistance to Nissan GT-R owners across India. This iconic sports car deserves no less than our very best.”

Speaking on the occasion, Nissan's Chief Product Specialist for the GT-R, Hiroshi Tamura said, “The Nissan GT-R is the ultimate symbol of Nissan driving pleasure and it requires the highest standards of service and care to deliver peak driving excitement. The staff at the NHPC in Noida have had rigorous training in Japan to provide the world-class level of service to GT-R customers. And I know the NHPC team shares the same passion and enthusiasm for the new 2017 GT-R as our customers here in India.”

Chosen for their ability to blend exceptional customer care with a passion for Nissan sports cars, each member of the Nissan High Performance Centre has received meticulous training in Japan. Additionally, mobile technicians called “flying doctors” will be on call to make on-site visits to help GT-R owners anywhere in India. These highly trained sports car mechanics are able to identify technical problems faced by GT-R customers and suggest the right course of action.

The Nissan High Performance Centre is located at Neo Nissan, C-26, Sector-3, Near Rajnigandha Chowk in Noida.
