DHFL opens new branch in Thane

Mumbai, Jun 13 (IBNS): Private housing finance company DHFL recently inaugurated its 18th branch for Maharashtra in Badlapur, Thane.

This is DHFL’s 27th office in the state of Maharashtra.

Rakesh Makkar, President & CDO, DHFL, said, “Badlapur is one of Mumbai’s rapidly growing suburban locations.”

“Located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), it is well connected to Mumbai city, Vashi and even Pune, and is increasingly becoming an interesting option for a large majority of home buyers who seek a better living at an affordable cost,” Makkar added.

He said, “The need to open a Branch in Badlapur arises out of the need to effectively reach out to such customers in Badlapur and the vicinity.”

DHFL offers a wide array of home loan products catering to the diverse needs of its customers, including home loan, home extension loan, home improvement loan, plot loan, mortgage loan, leased rental finance and non-residential property loan.

The company also refinances project loans essentially for development of low and middle income (LMI) housing projects in the region.

According to the officials, DHFL is currently present in over 450 locations in India and has 2 international representative offices in Dubai, UAE and London, UK.

The company’s Assets under Management (AUM) stood at Rs.448.2 billion as on Mar 31, 2014, the officials imformed.
